As far as my research led me, there is no possible drop source for r8 Magmas apart from Blue ones in NF. Hunted a long time and tried many different methods. Krytan chests are too low a level and everything else is too high a level. It is possible for r8 purple ones still from Kilroy, and r8 blue as a common drop, but unless I missed something gold r8 uninscr Magmas have no drop source anymore.

Hey kairi! but yeah Maguuma chests drop q8's (their chest lvl18) and also theres quest Defend denravi. Thats the quest me and master mix were wondering about!

I know krytans dont drop magmas atleast from hearing you guys!

Hmm didn't even think of Defend Denvari. I guess it's possible, but my god trying to get the right chest spawn, a gold,a Magmas, r8 and dual mod.... I'd rather try my luck farming for a gold crystalline in the desert :P

Do the NM chests that spawn with the quest actually drop titan items around Denravi? As I said, they don't in Kryta.

i know after some research tho atleast the titans in denravi quest drop magmas shields (Unlike Krytan ones according you mountain?)

So thats good sign! Found some ppl talking etc that they solo farm the area with the quest and get quite many magmas shield drops. Generally 1-2 chests spawn in that area with the quest. As the quest changes all spawns in that area to titans. so the whole area is titans. so also every chest spawn would possibly wield titan drops

ive honestly never seen a magmas with less than 15 armor, unless someone can show me 1 i highly doubt they can drop lower reqs.

CLARIFiCATION: In NM Kryta titan quest, the titans drop titan-related items; the chests do not.

Thanks for the info guys.. and hmm if you're still unsure about defend denravi one, i got some serious struggles ahead to try and confirm or deny this xD .. just gotta decide if i want to lose the defend droks NM quest or not. maybe will work on an alt to do so

lol. Thanks for the advice about krytan ones though. Saves me some effort continuously trying to farm them.

Tho some are quite close to max. Despite what it says in the stat ranges thread, I know of a r7 14-26 15^50 bow out there.

Not really a 'does it exist' but figure this is still the best place to post this.

Not sure if it's a one time bug or just stupid rare, but pulled a nonmax r8 staff out of a HM chest...quite certain this is the only time I've had that happen out of ~16500 HM chests.

I know either way it's nothing special, just found it odd. I was under the impression that HM chests couldn't give r8 staves.

So the question is: Is this meant to be on the drop table for HM chests?

Any info will be much appreciated, thanks.

gooooood deal! non max r8 ravens sound fun to throw in the bank. It's definitely possible I've overlooked them in the past, but 99% sure I haven't had one in the last 2.5k lockpicks worth of chests(been logging what all stat ranges I find under r9). I guess I've just been unlucky(or lucky depending on how you look at it)

Greetings Gurus.

I've been wondering about this for years, without finding an answer, so I'll give up and ask here. I have around 70 dual reduction shields, and have seen every possible combination of their mods.

I possess (as far as I can ascertain) the world's only dual reduction shield with -2/stance and -5(19%) mods. (-5/20% would be the max)

Is anyone aware of any other shields that have -2-5 mods?

And just how long was this a possible drop? I have been told it was possible for less than a week in 2005 before they closed the possibility. Can anyone shed any light on this?
